It's a sign!

Creating signs has become a popular past time in the last few years. From simply-done lettering to more painting-intense versions with added images, sign making is the perfect spring project. Whether you are creating an special sign for spring or everyday use or even getting a head start on your fall and holiday painting, sign making can be a fun and rewarding experience.

Viking Woodcrafts Blog - February 28, 2021

Another month has passed and spring is almost here. A time for rebirth. A great time to be a creative soul! Here is to a wonderful season and some awesome projects!

Here at Viking we have been busy. We recently unveiled our all new roster of brand ambassadors, exclusive designers, stamp and stencil designers and our Tole-tally brush art box project designers. Please welcome these very talented people and watch for some great things from them in the future!

This month on the blog we want to promote a new from Marlene Fudge, Exclusive Designer for Viking Woodcrafts. Using our rectangular wire basket with bottles she has come up with a perfect welcome to spring along with a reversible design for the winter season. This pattern packet will be available soon on the Viking website.

Viking Woodcrafts Blog December 23, 2020

The staff and crew at Viking Woodcrafts want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello! It is hard to believe we have come to the end of the year...and what a year it has been. Things changed worldwide for so many, a pandemic was not on the schedule but we have managed as best we can.

The creative world faced many challenges...shortages and more but a new world has slowly developed, with online interaction more important than ever.

From ordering to learning, taking classes to being entertained, it seems the internet provided connections to the art world we so decidedly love.

Here at Viking we unveiled a new website, which we are still working on, to make ordering much easier for you. Look for new items along with better inventory as time passes and production returns to normal. Our sister company, Painting World Magazine, has many new and fun innovations. Some already online, such as the Tole-tally Brushed Art Box Kits, that come complete with a Viking Woodcrafts surface with others coming soon.
